Have one. Most accurate 22 that I've owned. No complaints at all.

This popped up on my radar recently as I’m considering getting rid of my Kidd Built 10/22 to get a bolt action as I can’t enter the comps in my club with a SA.

I have the T3X SV picked for my .223 but I wanted a 22 and the tikka just gets great reviews.

Where are you going to buy it from?

I’ve seen the T1X MTR and was wondering if it’s the same thing?

well at the moment im just looking for opinions,im also looking at the cz 457 16 inch, seen good reviews on both, with the tikka .22,MTR stands for multi task rifle.afaik.so should be good for target or field

CZ was on the list with many reviews stating the stock lets it down. I think they have to use a cheap stock to meet the price point and assume many will replace with an aftermarket stock.

Had one in .22 and 17hmr,very acurate rifle, have one in 223.

Only issue with Tikka is barrell rusts very easily

I'd say it's a lottery in the accuracy department between them, all down to ammo testing after that. CZs have a fair few stock options but the price runs up pretty quickly. As for the stock on the MTR if it's anything like the CTR I wouldn't be overly impressed. At the end of the day it'd be hard to pass a Anschutz 1710.

Great rifle, very accurate out of the box.

Cci subs very accurate, win subs not as accurate but still very accurate and I find they have more of a punch when rabbiting.

Last evening out at rabbits had a few at 100yrds and 110 all head shot , it's not my shooting but the accuracy of the rifle achieved this.

    Buy it

I'm using cci standard velocity for plinking and cci subs for hunting. Both shoot less than 1/2 inch at 50 yards and they are cheap.

I also shot SK, lapua and eley with great results.

eley tenex were really accurate but way too expensive for what I'm doing.

I shot the cci standard out to 200 yards with good results

If the Kidd is accurate, keep it!

It is in fairness. Very accurate with CCI Subs but I can’t enter the monthly comps without using a friends rifle and I’d like to be using my own.

It’s not a full Kidd. Still factory receiver and barrel but everything else Kidd with magpul stock.
