Being evicted as complained about mentally ill flatmate

Hi. The landlord moved in a tenant who turned out be have Psychiatric Problems as

1. He was under the care of a Psychiatrist who specialised in Bipolar and Addictions. He left a letter from the Psychiatrist on the floor near my room so I read it.

2. He dumped high dose tranquilliser wrapping and antidepressants into the bin.

3 Marajuana smoke wafted from his room

4 He did steroids as his muscles doubled in size over A few months

5. He ran up and down the stairs at 4am, played computer games, fried food. Washed clothes at 2am regularly. He did not have a job for half the time he was here. Punched my door and raised his fist at me.

We told the landlord but he said that tenant was lovely. Then, gave all the tenants an eviction letter as he said the other tenant would complain.

I can't figure out why the landlord was so good to this tenant and not the other tenants

The landlord claimed not to be connected to the tenant but the landlord seems to talk the tenant's mother.
