Yet, no explanation to commuters as to why… what sort of crap is that ?
“Passengers please be advised that there are currently no Red or Green Line services operating, we will update passengers in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Technical problem ? Accident ? Protest ? What ?

Yeah I was wondering the same....I'm not on twitter.... surely someone has an explanation.
For both lines to be impacted I'm thinking it's more than the usual antisocial behaviour.

It's probably not that important at this point given all the trams have been evacuated and platforms cleared, but in the earlier stages of incidents like this it's probably sensible to be deliberately vague.

RTÉ mentioning a phonecall about suspicious activity on a Luas tram...
Gardaí have said they are working with tram operators in relation to "a phone call made regarding suspicious activity on a Luas tram" this evening.
