Fuel allowance

How to work out if entitled (or not) to the fuel allowance... Couple in mid 70's Weekly income Total E634 ( two state contributory and one private pension) They have a total of E230k saving.. It seems you are allowed have E1000 income per week. Would their savings put them over the limit. Thanks.

230k savings and looking for a fuel allowance is a wee bit greedy to be fair!
