Blocking someone on Whatsapp.

    Hope this is in the right section.

    The local pub has Whatsapp group and one of the members is a complete

    AR $€ hole!!!! I've blocked his number so he can't call me or whatsapp me

    direct but how do I, or can I block him from showing up in the Whatsapp group?

    He's one of these CU nt$ that always has some form of put down or sneer in a

    bad way. A prick in other words!!! :-)

    I think we all know lads like that in the local pub - pricks like that need to kept at arms length.

    Are you the administrator of the WhatsApp group? If so you can remove him.

    If not - maybe have a quiet word with the admin to remove him from the group if he's being a dickhead.

    Otherwise, you will still see all his posts.

    Alternative is to remove yourself from the group so you no longer have to see his putdowns.

    That's why they call them public houses.

    Just learn to work around people you don't like.

    Cheers for the helpful reply, they are rare on here these days.

    The admin won't remove him. I suppose I'll just have to suck it up.

    I was hoping there might be a way of blocking him altogether like you

    can on Fakebook. I don't want to leave the group. It's been my local all

    my life and the Whatsapp group is very handy to be in. The prat in

    person wouldn't be regular. Just one of those idiots who shouldn't be given

    a smartphone!!! :-)
