Garda Car with Static Blue Lights

Just seen a garda car go down the road slowly with static Blue lights on its roof and not flashing/flickering blue lights - just wondered if that's a thing and what does that denote (never seen them lit like that before).... or are they broke? , just curious.... but I bet I get a lot of silly answers seeing as its 'After Hours' area LOL 😁

after posting question I just happened to google it (why didnt I think of that before posting the question???)

It seems they are 'Cruising Lights' when they are static like this (justto let the public - and the Crim's - Know that there is a police presence in the area , as a deterrent)
