Getting Fibre optic cable moved from one side of Door to other Siro/Sky say can't who can?

    HI,

    A friend in Balbriggan got a Fibre optic cable put into their house 18 months ago by SIRO, the cable connection was put into the beside the main door into hall. Problem is she keeps tripping over cable and wants to get cable and box outside (just beside door) moved to the other side. She needed to get another plug on the other side of hall which she did. Electrician says he can't move it. She rang Siro who said Sky need to move it, Sky says Siro need to move it but neither will.

    Can anyone suggest an alternative to get cable and box beside door who moved or who should/could do it.

    Call the company that installed it in the first place.

    Fiber is installed by contractors to your house not directly by SIRO or broadband providers.

    Usually this can be moved easily if fiber optic cable is long enough to reach new location.
