Anyone know the best ferry (prefer not to leave in a kennel on the boat) to get when travelling with your dog to France?

Also when is the best time to book for deepest discount for travel in Feb-Mar

    thanks!

you might get better info in this thread but I don't think any of the ferry companies will let you leave your dog in the camper. You're generally not allowed to access your vehicle during the crossing.

Haven't used them for travelling to France, but Stena Line has introduced pet-friendly cabins -

Not much help but I travelled on the Brittany Ferries Salamanca from Cherbourg to Rosslare recently and there was a dedicated outdoor side deck for people to walk their pets. I'm not sure were there kennels on board or specific pet friendly cabins.

Brittany Ferries has pet friendly cabins on all ferries which serve the Irish market in my experience. I have used Salamanca and the unloved Connemara. On short routes, eg Cork/Rosslare to Brittany, there might be some prospect of leaving a dog in a motorhome with a host permitted. Although they say “no access”; they’ll even escort you to your vehicle with duty free if you buy it.
