Pixel and Bank of Ireland mobile app

Hi folks, does/did anyone else have an issue with the bank of Ireland mobile app on their pixel? It stopped recognising my fingerprint and pin out of the blue and so I ended up blocking the account. When I rang BOI they recommended reinstalling the app but that made no difference and just ended up blocking my account…

Hi folks, does/did anyone else have an issue with the bank of Ireland mobile app on their pixel? It stopped recognising my fingerprint and pin out of the blue and so I ended up blocking the account. When I rang BOI they recommended reinstalling the app but that made no difference and just ended up blocking my account again. They recommended installing any security updates for the phone but it's up to date. So puzzled now as to what the issue is.
