Bamboo stump removal

Would anyone have any advice as to how I might remove this. I am cutting down the shoots any time they sprout leaves (so as to starve the root system). I cannot get any hand tools underneath or between the roots as they are so densely intertwined. Happy to rent some sort of power tool or pay for a service if such a thing…

I used a Kango hammer and pick and a lot of blood sweat and tears Not easy but the Kango was great.

A long prybar/crowbar is my usual go to for removing plants

Or just regularly spray the new growth with glyphosate and let it die and rot away in it's own time.

What I do is strim with a metal blade down to ground level and spray it every month with glyphosate until it stops shooting then dig out with a pick axe.

Wake me up when it's all over.
