HKC 10270 Lan Scom fault

Seeing this error more often than I like, the system throws an error, we get notification on the app of the fault, user code clears the warning bleep etc, and after a period of time, it comes back. The alarm panel is not far from the relevant WiFi device, and on a number of occasions, the broadband is not down, or faulty, we're using it for other purposes, and the SCOM seems to come back not long after, without us doing anything.

Is anyone else seeing issues like this, as far as I know the panel and the WiFi card have the latest version of the software, so is this something I should be concerned about?

The Wi-Fi polls HKC server every 30 seconds.

When it does not the the handshake from the server it will the SCOM fault.

This would be down to your provider more so that the device itself as its doing what it is designed to do.

You could turn off the monitor for the Wi-Fi in the options menu if it persists.

Thanks, looks like we had a power spike that upset the WiFi router that the alarm connects to, about an hour later, we discovered that another device on that hub also had an issue, after a reboot of the hub, the device was able to connect, and the Alarm came back up, so we'll have to see how things work out, and if it keep doing things like this, a swap of the hub may be called for.

If you have dual path then the alarm will send the signals over both paths.

If one is down it sends it over the available one.
