Nordman Fir Tree

Just bought myself a Nordman Fir Tree really lovely Tree, SAYS 120-150 CMS HIGH IT DOESNT SAY HOW WIDE any clues ?

its been grown in its pot , all its life then taken out of soil in its pot, it comes with a pot larger with no holes in it,

Should i keep it in the pot till after xmas ,any particular place i should put it in GaRDEN,what preperation i should do.

Can the tree be kept in its growing pot, the roots being trimed off as they come through the holes like having a large bonsai

any advice appreciated thanks

You've bought a 'living' xmas tree, it's been dug up and stuck in a pot, the height refers to it's current one from a commercial perspective.

It's chances of survival are slim.

Reckless Abandonment

If your going to keep it in a pot then you just prune it to the size you want. They have been used as bonsai for a long time (not super popular as ones) Google conifer bonsai and you can use similar techniques to keep it healthy and to a size amd shape you want. I've many conifers in pots for years and they are doing fine. As to where to put it, they grow on the side of mountains so sun and harsh weather won't bother them.

No it was grown in that container like in the video and they give u a seperate pot ,
