Shotgun cartridge cycling issue

Hi All

I brought out my shotgun (franchi semi auto) this morning to fire a few shots using

Eley amber cartridges. They had previously cycled no problem however this morning not so much.

I know this is a weak cartridge but as they had always worked previously is it something to do with temperature

or some gun setting / need to clean etc?

Other cartridges are cycling fine

Could be a well fouled chamber resulting in the cartridges not being ejected.

What exactly is the problem:

1- Cartridges not feeding?

2- Cartridges not ejecting?

3- Cartridges partially ejecting?

4- Cartridges failing to fire?

And does your franchi have adjustable gas settings?

Is it they 21 gram or 24 gram version

It's cartridge not ejecting - the exact same cartridge ejected no problem

when I had gun out a few months ago - stronger cartridges are ejecting no problem.

Its not a gas gun just inertia (same action as benelli)

Maybe I'll give it a clean and that will do the trick

Yup, in that case most likely a deep clean and oil should do the trick.

Had the same problem with a bottom barrell of my over under some sandpaper or 0000 steel wool helps
