This will be a bad book for RTE first one that reflects their audiences post controversy. Radio 1 might be just okay but heads will roll in 2fm I think especially on the breakfast show with all the bad headlines for Garrihy of the Dempsey Clan!! My bets are on some young person like Laura Fox taking over the slot in the endless churn of Dan Healy-Rae's social media 'talent'

When you see the average weekday listened yesterday figures that @TheBMG linked to, you can really understand why Dan Healy said that 2fm can’t compete in Dublin again Spin.

For 15-24s, 2fm in Dublin is at 4.9% but Spin1038 is 30.3%. For 15-34s, 2fm is 6.6% and Spin is 24.6%.

Even if you look at the figure for all of RTE radios listened yesterday for 15-34s in Dublin, it still doesn’t beat Spin as it only reaches 15.9%. Fm104 also narrowly beats them at 16.3%.

Or a lot of businesses have realised it’s more effective to run a promotion that makes their campaign exciting and not just an ad that’s easier to tune out.

Fm104 for instance are partnered with Wonder Lights this year and had Graham and Nathan live at the event. That may be a better use of money than 30 second ads.
