Honestly I didn't think Afterlife did so well it justified a sequel; though IIRC CoVid had its own effect, but here we are. Looks like they have returned to New York this time, and hard to know if the original cast are getting another "walk on" cheque or will be a larger aspect of the film / story.

my memory of AFTERLIFE is that the Ghostbusters split up after Egon took equipment and left the city.
Or am I mistaken ? Had they already broken up and Egon couldn’t get them back together so he went off on his own?

Saw it last weekend. Inoffensive but reasonably entertaining.
Felt sorry for James Acaster. He is such a funny guy, but the material he was given to work with was truly awful.
I thought they missed an opportunity where…

… Ray wondered out loud what it would be like to be a ghost. They could have had a big hero sacrifice and emotional punch at the end with a ghostly Dan Aykroyd, but they played it safe with Melody.
