Titleist Linkslegend Members Bag

I was at Fota Island recently and seen on of these bags for sale. It's a very nice bag that I'd like to buy but didn't buy it there as I'd prefer it without the Fota Island embroidery.

Checking online it's seems these aren't available through the usual places like McGuirks. My pro has theemse are only available to certain resort courses and he can't source them.

Does anybody know where I could order one or even a similar bag in a different brand. Vessel bags seem to do similar but not sure if they are readily available either.

Unfortunately, Titleist don't provide these without the embroidery in Ireland and there is also a minimum order. I'd say at the price point most club pro's would be reluctant to order them.

The Sun Mountain Sonnenalp-Mid-Stripe would be worth a look. May have to go through the uk to get one though, clubhouse golf have them.

Yeah I'd happily take one with the embroidery of my own club on it but if there is a minimum order, I can't imagine the demand is high enough. I've a chunk of credit to use up in the pro shop so I can justify splashing out on something like this.

I'll have a look into the Sun Mountain ones although definitely don't look as tidy as the Titleist one.

Very expensive, but minimalist, I like its simplicity. It's hard to get anything without logos splashed all over something these days.

Decathlon have a minimalist one at the other end of the market. I have a similar waterproof version for winter golf and they're fantastic for the price.

Nowhere near as nice looking as the linkslegend but similar in its simplicity.

I was close to buying that Decathlon bag but since I've had the Titleist one in hand, it's hard to go back to it!

Brother in law has a bag in decathalon, it fell over on the course one day and the drivers head snapped right off. Looked like it was due to the seperators only seperating at the top of the bag and not all the way down as better bags do. Might have been a freak accident but put me off the decathalon bags for sure

Can't say I can fault the quality of it at all, but I don't use it all too regularly, I tend to only use the waterproof carry bag for 15 hole rounds during the winter as I prefer walking rather than having to do detours around roped areas.

But do carry bag dividers go all the way down?

Why would anyone spend this on a bag? Bags in general are overpriced tbh. So many people spend a fortune purely for brand name and not for perfect waterproof/weight etc

I’d say the margins made on bags by the company’s is insanely high

There are a handful of actual OEM bag manufacturers. All the main brands buy from the same manufacturers. You'll often see obvious overlaps in common stand mechanisms, handles, zippers, material etc across the brands.

For the most part, there isn't a massive difference. However, you do see some better designs or functionality.

Regardless of brand, it's waterproofing #1 for then features/weight.
