Legal Fee Discrepancy

    Hi everyone,

I hope that this is right forum to ask this question.

My got the keys to my house in January of this year. About a week beforehand, I paid my solicitor for her services. In the invoice given to me, there was 450 euros allocated for legal search fees, and I paid this amount when I paid her in full.

Just this afternoon, I received another email from her secretary saying that that the search fees were higher than anticipated, and that I need to pay the difference of 120 euro.

I'm just wondering what to do here. To me, it would seem that if the solicitor did not allocate enough money for search fees in her invoice, then is not my problem. I paid her in full on time last year, and it seems a little improper to ask me to pay more after we have settled the bill based on a mistake that she made.

Am I legally obliged to pay her here? If the fees came to less than the allocated amount, I sincerely doubt that she would be refunding me the difference...

    Thanks
