Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Soldering repair for old Grundig radio

    My Dad has a Grundig radio he bought in Wilhelmsburg, Hamburg in 1962. He says it just needs some soldering. I'd like to get it fixed for him for Christmas. I'm in the Midlands but will travel if needed.

    Not that it makes any difference but I thought it looked very modern for 1962, I would have guessed early 70's. But it appears that it could be as early as 1965, but not 1962. It is definitely one made for the German market. There are other pictures online of English ones with markings for SW and FM. FM (U) only goes up to 104 MHz, which would be a bit of restriction these days. Nice video here.
