Hi folks

Iv a problem with lice every year in the shed

Iv treated them on the first day going in with no joy

Iv done them when they started scratching with no joy either.

I wonder what other people are using and when the use it. I also have their backs clipped at the moment. Thanks

I find Ectospec pour-on good. You have to do them twice.

You need to do them twice, three weeks apart

Yeah I agree with the above. I’ll probably do cattle this week and again in 3 weeks. What I do this week will not kill the eggs.

I find clip the cattle backs and tail and two days later put the pour on them, then 3 weeks pour on again, the clipping makes a huge difference to killing the lice.

Unless they have mites under the skin, then it's an Ivermectin to get rid of them.

I have a shed of 9 month old weaklings this year and have never clipped the backs before and only trim the tails using a pair of scissors (fun job).

I'm debating clipping the backs this year but are they to young yet to do this or would people do it anyway.

I always do the weanlings. Never any problem. Orderd spotinor today so hopefully will have them done this weekend

I'll do them twice on reccomendations of the lads on here
