AirPods Pro & Amazon

Been holding out getting the AirPods Pro 2 till the Black Friday sales and the options are disappointing. No bricks and mortar options have a sale price on them. The only options are:

Buy direct from Apple: €279 but comes with €50 apple voucher

Buy from Amazon (where Amazon is the seller): €229 BF sale price.

Anyone buy from these or any apple products from Amazon before? Should I be wary?

I bought them. Got them Friday. Happy out. Also got AppleCare+.

First Apple Product I got from Amazon. The delivery was different as you have to be in and I had to give the driver a one time password that Amazon provide.

Go for it. It’s a good saving.

first time i've heard of that - was that delivered by Amazon van or An Post?

I got airpods pro last June from Amazon, you should always be wary, but sold by amazon should be fine.

(read a report recently of an iphone 15 delivery direct from apple uk or us. The phone inside was a poor android clone! Didn't see any update or follow up since though)

I bought my iPhone 15 Pro through Amazon UK. Delivered by DPD and had to be signed for.

When the iPad 2 came out. I ended up buying off Apple. But because of the delay. I ended up getting one on store. So sent the one from Apple back. Got a call from Apple telling me the box was empty. 😂 it definitely wasn’t when I sent it

Well I pulled the trigger an ordered them on Amazon. Arrive Thursday. They will need to be signed for in person.

I've had a look at guides to spotting fakes. It seems that no counterfeit AirPods have the precision find my feature.

Will report back on what I get.

AirPods arrived today. Upgraded firmware and checked the "find my" precision feature and all checks out. They're legit AirPods.
