Dublin Airport Late at Night

Will be getting into Dublin Airport around midnight. Once in arrivals would I be correct in assuming there is no issues hanging out there for a few hours until the early hours of the morning ? In other words there is no issue with finding a quiet spot and grabbing some sleep ?

Years ago (read decades) this type of thing was never a problem in any airport but I'm not tuned into the lay of the land these days

If you arrive you will have to go through Passport Control.

You can hang around once you clear passport control.

Quick question why do you wannna hang around once you arrive?

Very useful, puts the mind at rest.

Will be getting in at midnight and have a 3hr drive so depending on the situation was just wondering about getting a few hours rest before driving. Will probably be carrying a sleeping bag and thermarest so there would be some element of comfort.
