I have an appointment to see a consultant, the secretary quoted me the price for the visit over the phone, but their website shows a lower price. Should I kick up a fuss, would it get me anywhere?

Dont kick up a fuss. But do query it. Could be the site is out of date. Be polite and mention the advertised rate is less. Give them some leeway to change it. It may be your choice of words (I am a fecker for going in hard), but go softly, otherwise they go on the defensive and you get their backs up.
