Is anyone familiar with these instruments? Seems to be a way for a company to put excess cash to work without having to pay the 20% close company surcharge on undistributed investment income. Seems to be a way for a company to put excess cash to work without having to pay the 20% close company surcharge on undistributed investment income.
I see Irish Life and Aviva seem to have them, but any pitfalls, things to watch out for, things to be aware of? They are only sold through brokers and I usually go direct for policies and stuff.
