Hi, I am looking for suggestions to get an automatic around 10k with annual car tax less than 400 Euros. In particular looking for a mid size car and spacious trunk/boot.

My searches result in cars like 2010-2014 Bmw 520d, or Mercedes E-class and Audis? (Maintenance cost would be high)

From Toyota there are hybrid options like Camry and Lexus, and a decent one would be around 15k?

Another Sedan would be Hyundai I40?

My mileage won't be a lot therefore I was leaning towards petrol but the annual tax is higher than 400 Euros.

I was considering Renault Fluence Automatic, but the EDC is not a reliable automatic from my research.

Please share your experiences/ suggestions. Would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Your typical budget choices are Ford Mondeo and Skoda Superb , avoiding ex taxis , could find a really nice examples.

If you have trusted bmw mechanic don’t be afraid of buying one, showing it to mechanic first! 5 series would be so much nicer than Skoda or Ford.

Thanks, what do you think Volvo? They used to share the same diesel engine between ford and Citroen.
