I have been a user of Energie since few months, but had frozen the subs for 2 months since I couldn't visit them. I tried cancelling my subscription during freeze period - but the website didn't have an option to do it. I cancelled my direct debit therefore for the 3th month onwards.

Energie has come back (via Harlands) demanding the money for December, along with admin fees (total 39+20 euros)

They say a notice of 30 days should have been given over email for cancellation (however based on their T&C which I read later - cancellation should be done through website)

I am wondering if they have any merit in this case here, and can take me to a consumer court? I think as a customer - I tried cancelling through their website, but was not allowed as there wasn't any option available

They will not be taking you to court over €59

So long as you know you’ll never use them again, just ignore all communication and block them if possible
