Poop Stuck to Bottom (Longish Haired Cat)

    Hey Folks,

    So about a month or so ago our family started fostering a cat. She's lovely but does come with one slight issue. She's somewhat long haired and on occasion her poop sticks to her bottom- which isn't exactly ideal as she wonders about the house. Just this morning I had to pick a piece up from my daughters bedroom, the landing and clean some smudged in pieces from the carpet.

    What do people in these situations do? Is it just a case of making sure the fur around the bum is trimmed?

    Such a strange query I know, but with carpet and soft furnishing ahoy, we want to deal with it appropriately.
