What Size Inverter for initial 8.7 kw south facing array- Newbie

Looking at getting into Solar this spring, I can add 8.7KW of Panels to a 100% south-facing roof at 35 degrees, The aspect is completely clear of Shading/Buildings/Trees. I can add more south-facing Panels on the Large Shed or an E/W array on the house roof down the road if required.

Looking to add Heat Pump and EV over the next 3 to 5 years,(currently have neither)

Initially what size/type of inverter would you guys suggest?

I have a Smart Meter.

5kW (well technically 5.75kW, but they don't exist)

Unless you want to go down the nc7 route, the above limit is because of the NC6.

Initial reaction meh.

I'll explain.

That's a hybrid, so you can attach batteries to the inverter. The solax is restrictive in that aspect, as it needs high voltage battery , possibly only solax.

If your not looking for a battery, go for a straight inverter (non hybrid)

If hybrid, I'm ready liking the sunsynk and sofar.
