1 - The Twilight Zone - The Night of the Meek (1960)

    2 - Father Ted - A Christmassy Ted (1996)

    3 - One Foot in the Grave - Who's Listening? (1990)

OFAH have some great Christmas specials, fatal extraction and the jolly boys outing were tv gold.

Both Gavin and Stacey specials are a must watch for me too.

My favourites are the Porridge Christmas specials. They get a watch from me most years.

@NewbridgeIR the fast show and the royle family are great shouts!

    Thank you.

The Fast Show one is hilarious - Bob Fleming's Country Favourites (with coughs galore), Colin Hunt's office party, Ted, Ralph and Mr Kipling's exceedingly good cakes. I was in the pub when it aired (St Stephen's Day 1996) but had the VCR set and watched it twice when I came home after the disco. Accompanied with a curry chips and a selection box.

There's a number of Royle Family Christmas specials but that first one (aired after the second series) is brilliant.

The Royle family 1999 is the best.

    Merry Christmas Mr Bean

And these were more once off specials, but for TV:

Wallace and Gromit, A Close Shave

The last few Doctor Who Christmas specials have been quite good and emotional.
