    Hello,

I'm planning to move a few young Oak tress that are around 2 yrs old and place them next to some Sycamores.

The sycamores are established, one is around 15yrs and the other +50yrs. The young oaks wont be less then 10 meters from either of the sycamores.

My question is, is this plan ok? Is it giving the oaks the best chance? There would be no impact to the sycamores down the line?

Sounds ok, it certainly won't affect the sycamores. If you think of woodland or hedgerow you will see trees growing much closer together than that.

Sycamores are more vigorous than oak so they will be ok. And if the oak are more than 10m away they will be fine too
