Concealed shower head issue

Hi all,

I need to swap my shower head and wanted to see if anyone knew where the hose was connected to behind the tiles? Do i need to remove a tile to swap out the hose or is this connected to the main tap. Tap is hard to remove so didnt want to pull anything too hard!

The chrome dome where the hose goes into the wall screws off, anti clockwise

If you just want to replace the head then no need to remove the hose from the wall

Thanks for the reply, this isnt threaded tho. this was siliconed to the tile, not sure the reason but it is in two sections that were glued on to the tile, if i removed them should there be good access to the end of the shower head?

I'd remove it. No a big deal using silicon to put it back on. I'm assuming the hose will twist off

The chrome round thing is a radiator pipe collar. You can easily get replacements if it breaks when coming off
