Hello There, like the title says I'm looking for a 32" TV that will do both Saorview and FreeSat in the same UI and maybe has a spare HDMI or two for connecting a Kodi box or similar. As far as I know wrt to tuners that means it must support DVB-T2 and DVB-S2, right? I have a Panasonic TX-32FS503B in a spare room that's a few years old now and does exactly that so I was looking at Panasonic again and the TX32MS360B came up on my radar and it seems you have it in stock too. Sony KD32W800P1U looks interesting too. Just to double check basically. This telly is doing exactly that, combining T2 & S2, right? Also this one is not Android TV, correct? While I like AndroidTV it seems on entry level models it can be very laggy/sluggish and I couldn't have that. Any other recommendations in that price range & size? Thanks Fritti

    Hi CalamariFritti.

Getting a 32" television with both a satellite tuner and Saorview tuner should not be too much of an issue.

However both EPG's would not be combined and you would need to switch between the two services unfortunately.

The Panasonic TX-32FS503B has both T2 & S2 tuners. It isn't one that we stock unfortunately.

In Panasonic we have the 32MS490B priced at €329. Has both T2 & S2 tuners.

The Sony KD32W800P1U also has both T2 & S2 tuners. The Sony is also Android. Priced at €299

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Hey Guys,

I have a question/problem with this TV I cant seem to figure out for myself.

Tv works all perfect but I intend to run a Kodi Box/Media player on one of the HDMIs and I simply cant get rid of overscan. Which is mad this should be a thing of the past.

Basically the Media Player (RPI4/Kodi) has 1080 output and the TV has 1080 but the TV simple doesn't show all of the media players picture. The edges are cut off. I googled and tried picture settings like AIUTO, FULL, 16:9 etc but no joy, it just stays that way.

Any ideas? And if not - I understand this may be a very specialised problem - is there a place with Panasonic I could ask such a support question?

    Thanks C

    Hi CalamariFritti.

That is a strange one and not something I've came across before unfortunately.

I'm not familiar with Kodi boxes but might there be any settings on it that you can change?

You can use the link below and scroll down to here to help and the middle option will bring up a chat box.

Let me know how it goes.

It was the most simple thing. On the telly in Settings/Picture I had to change the screen format/zoom mode from Auto (default) to Full. But it lead to a brain fart in my behalf. Not even sure how to explain this. Either way it will make me look silly ;)

Because of CEC the moment the Kodi box on HDMI1 became live the telly remote turned into the Kodi box remote. Which meant I couldn't actually get into Settings/Picture for the telly. CEC would route every button press to the Kodi box. I could operate the Kodi box at this point but not the telly.

Only when I switched telly's input source from HDMI1 back to Tuner the remote became the telly remote again and let me enter those settings. But of course the changes I made there were specific to the input source Tuner and not to HDMI1. I assumed they were global, but they aren't, they are input source specific. That was my brain fart. When you go into Settings/Picture these settings are for whatever input source is currently active of which there are several as in Tuner, HDMI1, HDMI2, VGA, AV, Optical.

Had to disconnect the Kodi box from HDMI1 (or turn it off, or disable CEC would have done the trick too I guess), change telly input source to HDMI1, enter Settings/Picture, make the change to 'Full', exit settings. Then turn Kodi box back on and all was good.

    Hey CalamariFritti.

Excellent that you got things sorted.

Something that turned out to be as you say so simple but only of you know what you are doing :)

Fingers crossed no more issues ad you can get to enjoying the TV.

If we can help in any way in future please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks very much for following up so quickly in any case. Just got my head twisted.

It's actually a very nice telly. Slight drawback it doesn't have the Freesat UI anymore like older Panasonics. But I still managed to get all Saorview and all satellite channels nicely organised via channel list USB import/export function. Picture is great and sound is better than most other small tellys. Very happy. 👊
