Reactivate 087 Sim / Phone number

Hi guys, I previously had an 087 number, when I moved job I received a company phone, I paid my bill up to the point where the contract expired but I did not renew it, I am now thinking about reactivating my old number with three mobile, unfortunately I went round in circles trying to confirm if this was possible or not.…

Q. Is it possible to reactivate my old number if i no longer have the old sim card.
Q. I do have an iPhone which was on the 087 network which I can use.
