Network settings to allow streaming of Xbox?

Hey, I have a Steam Deck and an Android phone. I can stream my xbox to both using Greenlight (Steam Deck) or the Xbox app (phone) with no problems when on my home wifi. As soon as I try to connect outside that (either on mobile network or on a different wifi connection) it is hit or miss at best and usually doesn't work. There shouldn't be an issue with my home network (quick check on fast.com shows 460Mbps down and 40Mbps up), so I am wondering if there is a specific network setting I should be updating to get this working better? Do I need to open specific ports on my router or anything?
