Corrugated conundrum

Hi, I have a query if I may. Storm Isha tore off a plastic corrugated roof panel from my verandah. Thing is, it's a middle panel and I'm not sure how I go about fixing a new panel in its place without climbing onto the adjacent panels and, probably, falling through! I'm getting on (some say oldish) and a health condition keeps me from being as robust and confident as I used to be. Just wondering if anyone has any tips.

Put a ladder or 8 by 4 sheet plywood up on good part of roof and work off it - I’m assuming the roof on both sides of the dislodged panel is solid.

Thanks Field east, that's a good idea, (the old brain obviously isn't as creative as it used to be!). Yes both panels either side are still intact.
