Does anyone know what happened to the website discussion forum thepropertypin.ie?

It was a great place to discuss houses for sale, advice for buying and selling etc ?

Now it's "Ireland under Invasion" posts ?

Anyone know of a replacement website?

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you but thanks for the reply.

Pity it was great to find out everything about Irish property.

Boards.ie is not in great shape either. Numbers are down. Less active. Old moderators power tripping and banning if you question left orthodoxy like that on trans

thepropertypin is a strange place these days. Pro-Russian, anti-Jew, scattergun anti-immigant, Misogynist, anti-vax, homophobic. It is like it has become a parody of a right wing website. I assume the site has been forcibly acquired by someone and the former promoters of the site are too embarrassed to admit they ceded control of the site. I don't believe the people who are posting under usernames which were in use 15 years ago are mostly the same people. Gript.ie has a focus in its narrative from a right wing perspective which is credible regardless of whether you side with them or not. ThePropertyPin is just rehashing hate propaganda from abroad and spinning it from an Irish perspective.

The people who originally formed sites like boards.ie, politics.ie are known. No idea who drives thepropertypin and it appears that is the way they want to keep it.
