Question about transferring pension/service years from HSE to the Civil Service

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to get some information about the process for transferring my years of service from the HSE and a voluntary hospital over to the Civil Service. I worked part time during college in a HSE hospital then worked in the health service in two voluntary hospitals so would have around 10+ years of service that I could transfer over to the Civil Service. Essentially I'm wondering how I would go about doing this and if I transferred my service over would it be of any disadvantage to me?
