    There’s very few advantages of a housing supply crisis but this has to be the best one - places where many wouldn’t consider buying become in demand due to location - obviously you still need to choose your property wisely and no guarantee that gentrification will sort all issues over night, but as prices rise, these type of areas start to have a fighting chance of turning into nice places to live over time.

    I guess the key considerations for those with families is schools /facilities in those areas- singles and couples starting out without kids is probably the first step

    Donabate is a good bet. Less than half an hour to the city center on the train. Rush and lusk station only 3 mins more.
