Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car Headlight lens replacement

Anyone out there know of anywhere/anyone in Ireland that will replace a car headlight lens without having to replace the whole unit?

Have looked everywhere and asked around but all I’ve heard is you have to replace the whole headlight (costing around 3k for a Mercedes cls 🫣 and even the used headlights close to 2k online)

I’ve seen headlight lenses for sale online at a fraction of the cost (maybe €120), and have seen places in the uk that offer lens replacement, and have seen videos of how to do it, but wouldn’t have a notion of where to start myself !

Would rather avoid going through insurance on this for a whole new headlight as the light is working perfectly, just a small hole in the lens!

    any help much appreciated! 🙏

If it's just a small hole you should be able to use a window screen repair kit to diy it.
