Generally speaking, how many working days does it take for funds sent from an account with a different bank to show up in your own account?

Depends on the banks involved. For some of my accounts it's about 5 seconds, for others it's a day.

Also depends on the time of day you send it. Your own bank's website may have details of deadlines.

And if you're using an app or your bank's website, see if there's details on the payments/transfers screen indicating whether you've made that day's deadline.

The majority of inter-bank euro transfers take place under Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) rules. This allows a maximum of 1 dat for the transfer to complete. It may happen same day, especially if the transfer is initiated early in the day, but this can never be relied upon. A transfer may occasionally take longer than one day, especially where it is initiated late in the day outside bank hours, or around a weekend. Other timeframes will apply in the case of SEPA Instant, Same Day Value transfers, foreign transfers, Inter Currency transfers, etc.
