Wood Pellet Blockage

I have recently purchased a wood pellet stove (ExtraFlame Rossanna Idro) and it has been nothing but trouble with pellet/dust blockage. My question is are there any wood pellets that users have found acceptable and has anyone had a similar problem. Stove still under warranty. Thanks in advance.

What pellets are you using? Some pellets (or is that all of them?) have the amount of fines (dust) printed and as long as they are kept in a suitable storage container where there is a low enough humidity and no condensation and no mechanical disturbance, should operate without causing much issue to the feed-screw. So always look at what you're using first and where you're getting them from.

10-10-20, thanks for the reply and information.

I'm using "Balcas Energy" Fines 0.5% (Fermanagh) and have switched to "SM" Fines 0.2% (Lithuania).

I will be trialling this product for the next week.

    Thanks again.

I think Balcas are normally perfect, maybe the pellets were mishandled or stored incorrectly.
