Fastest way from Heuston station to Christchurch place / Vicar street?

I know it’s not too far by walking but I will be on crutches so would prefer transport. Is the Luas or one of the tfi buses quicker to get to Christchurch place? If so, what bus from Heuston station?

Luas from heuston to james - cross the road and any bus will take you directly there

Take the S2 bus at heuston and ask the driver to be let off around at Christ church.

But it would be pretty much exactly the same route taken by both. They both would use the same bus lanes to get there. The bus has only two potential stops along the Quays and is scheduled to take 7 minutes.

Why pay far more using a taxi - they do indicate they can use a bus!
