Hi, Apologies for question but I had Talking TV until recently. I usually only do a scan or search to find channels (Cork). I've tried to input the help given without any joy (see pics). I've an Ariva 153 combo FTA box that has served me brilliantly for years since I left Sky. The box seems to accept the numbers but says that TP already exists. But when I do a search for Talking TV none of the results will show the channel. I'm sure I'm doing something simple wrong and any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If memory serves a peculiarity of the Ariva software is that you need to delete the old entry first otherwise the box thinks it already has that channel and so ignores the new settings. Since the old ones no longer work, it's no harm to delete the old entry either way.

I haven't used that particular box but many will operate similarly.

I see you're trying to edit a transponder that I assume already exists in the list of stored transponders.

There are many other FTA channels on that transponder that you may have already stored, if so the transponder already exists (https://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E.php)

In that situation I would select the transponder from the existing list of stored transponders and select a transponder scan/search option.

Delete any Talking Pictures channels that are already stored before scanning.

Transponder scan with these details. We use TVHeadend and with all the recent changes to transponders it frequently fails to auto detect new transponders so you have to program them in. It copes very well with multiple redundant transponders applying fuzzy logic to identify the active ones.

In my usual daily perusal of all things H7s...I regained Talking Pictures from Gerry Wicklows post.I just checked to make sure it is still there...it is -but- it is showing 11344 V not 11343?? It's working but wonder why?

It is actually 11343.50 according to King of Sat. Doesn't make any difference. You could probably do a search using 11340 or 11350 and it would still appear.

There's a margin of error to allow for LNB's which may be slightly off frequency as they down convert from the original frequency broadcast from the satellite.
