Best way to repair cracked lead flashing on extension roof?

As above, no sign of any leaks but would like to repair in advance of getting any.

I’ve no experience with roof work or building work. I’m thinking if I pull back the cracked sections and clear any debris, then re flatten and use a blow torch to heat the edges (I have one of Lidl weed burning things if it’s up to the job), and hammer flat again.

Do I need to buy a small lead strip to use either under or over the crack?

Any suggestions welcome.

Please share a photo, lead can possibly be repaired by soldering but skills and tools are needed.

Give the cracked area a good clean and seal with Tech7 mastic or similar. Under no circumstances should you use a weed burning torch or you may have more that a minor crack in lead flashing to deal with😁

Flashband would work. In the video they don't heat the adhesive but I do and it worked for me (makes it extra tacky)
