Because of the 6 Nations and the rounder ball thingy called the Premiership, Grand Prix commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live is demoted to website only. Thankfully Now TV has introduced pausing on live TV so should be able to sync up OK.

I wonder how this going to pan out with those GPs with the 2025 F1 calendar with Ramadan clashing with the entire month of March next year. I know Australia is due to kick off the 2025 season on an unspecified date

You don't have to go far for other series that don't race on Sunday. They only seem to race on Saturdays up in Kirkistown in Northern Ireland. As far as I know this is due to the track being in a religious stronghold. Similar reasons to why Ulster rugby did not play on a Sunday up until 2003:

That's Antonelli's teammate in F2 yeah? Has he raced on this track before I wonder? Some amount of pressure to hop into a front running car last minute like that and at such a high speed track. Fingers crossed he does well.

Edit: Yep he just got pole position on the track yesterday.

He did two FP1s and the post-season test for Haas last year and has done some private testing with the FDA at Fiorano.

Bearman has acquitted himself well so far. I'm still surprised a top team like Ferrari don't keep someone more experienced on reserve though, someone like a Vandoorne or a Giovanizzi. I guess what we've often seen in the past is when a team get a little bit more notice they're able to make some calls and skip over the reserve to bring someone in, where this time they've obviously needed somebody at the track immediately.
