    Hi all,

we have a quantum 70 installed in our house and access to the HKC app was working fine until we turned off our landline.

i am now getting the same error as the discussion title every time I try and login.

our installer added a Wi-Fi card a couple of years ago and SecureComm take a yearly subscription via our bank on direct debit.

i have the engineer code so when our landline was switched off I went in and changed the Wi-Fi name and password etc.

cannot access the system remotely though so as the landline has gone I won’t get notifications if the alarm is triggered . Worse however is the noise issues for the neighbours!

any ideas on getting back online please?

    thanks

If you go into the comms menu, communicators, Wi-Fi, check the status of this to see if its got an IP address

Hi. My HKC alarm works without fault and if it throws up a fault it usually rectifies itself. Vodafone G/Broadband went offline about a month ago I was notified hence the Red Led on the alarm and it reset itself. However I am getting a "SecureComm unable to communicate with the system, please try again later. Sometimes I can login in but not this morning. The keypad works fine.
I followed your instructions as listed above and everything seems fine (No Faults) in the menu and it listed IP address etc but I can't login on WiFi or GSM. I turned off/on the modem and the Laptops, Phones, FireStick etc work fine. How can I get the HKC Alarm to rescan for networks ets.

    Kind Rgds

    Fergal

HKC are still having an issue so its not your end.

It is to be sorted, fingers crossed, by the end of this month when they move everyone to the new server.

RE: WiFi/GSM intermittent slow connection etc.; I contacted HKC Dublin 353 1 4567077, and they are currently working on a software fix (SecureComm 2) and are looking at 2 week time frame. If the alarm works using keypad then us it for the time being.
