Losing the kicking game so far.

Could smell a performance like this coming all competition.

Need half time to sort this out. Have had no attacking game yet. Just cut out the silly mistakes.

Ireland should be delighted to only be 2 down. Have played very little rugby after the first 5 minutes. Need to hang on to the ball for a while.

Not too worried. We've had f*ck all ball. England haven't converted their pressure or possession, and they don't have 80 minutes of this intensity in them.

Aki leads. The rest need to step up to his level, and right quick.

Jesus Hugh cahill is awful, he says what he thinks he sees as opposed to what is actually happening. He is brutal

Idk how we are leading 9-8 but we are!

We're lucky that both Smith's aren't fully fit. George Ford isn't having a good game. Has overcooked his garryowens and isn't using the attacking ball England's forwards have generated.

    Brilliant interception by Henshaw.

Playing utter tripe and somehow a point up. If we get to half time with this score, I think we'll do better in the second half.

That's a sensational kick from Lowe.

    What a kick

The Tans are beginning to wobble. Fatigue and a scant return for their efforts.

Lovely kick from Lowe and a bit of luck.

Nice play after it, to get another kickable penalty

And just like that we go in 4up

England have been the better side. Winning the collisions and have the better attacking ball. But it's to Ireland's huge credit that they haven't buckled under that pressure. Leaking penalties, but not conceding trys.

All that effort and possession from England and they go in 4 points down

That has to impact the minds.

I think the only guy that deserves any credit in that half is Jack Crowley for being perfect off the tee.

4 up at HT is encouraging given the relatively sloppy half, plus england prob expending a lot of energy

Started to take control of the game last ten minutes.

Good to see us recognizing what's happening and taking the points. But need to better in second half.

No idea how we're leading this. Haven't had a sniff of the ball in 40 minutes.

Have they though? Or have they just had a lot of ball? They've brought a lot of physical intensity, but not a lot else tbh, a couple of moments aside.
