So I was trying to get a taxi last night with my dog to get home as weather was terrible.

In the end I had to walk the 15minutes home and my dog got drenched poor dog. It's a cruel world. Surely there is a market for dog taxis.

A lot of dogs are smelly and also shed hairs - a wet smelly dog shedding hairs would be a nightmare for a taxi driver- essentially would have to clean out the car of the hairs and also de-odourise it -

Many dogs are neither smelly nor shed hairs but unfortunately the bad rep of some dogs makes it a tough ask unfortunately OP

15 minute walk in the rain. Give me a break. What taxi would think it worth their while, dog or no dog? Worse still is the utter nonsense of the dog 'poor' dog because it got wet.

to those who think it is a crazy idea, although i agree its probably not worth it, uber and the like generally have pet friendly options so its not exactly a completely crazy idea

Lots of Taxis here will happily do a 2 minute drive and charge €7 for it. Just not with a dog. Yes he dies not like getting wet. He has short legs. Not hard to understand.

OP, why not start your own taxi, in your area. specialising in taking wet dogs on the distance of a fifteen minute walk, when it rains, at the time time your walk your dog?
