well there is a reason we sent you the links when "they" went up for sale as this is how he operates and has done for a long time,

I'm sure he is quiet busy and gets a lot of very non committal emails etc so even wading through what is worth replying to would be a chore coupled with some very vague emails of people looking for too much of a 20+ year old machine and all that I know i wouldn't be replying to half and just only answer emails once i put a cab up for sale !! its a sellers market really!

I understand your point. Many users suggested me to contact him as it was the best way to deal with him. They have done like that and successfully got a cab… They also mentioned that his a nice person to deal with… so I tried to contact him asking to buy something, but no answer.

give it time **** happens in life , he could be anywhere, on holidays, attending something somewhere ! etc he may just not have any cabs for sale at the moment , he did take a hiatus a while back as well for other reasons.

I got time… I am just reporting my experience. It might be useful for someone else too

Best to pounce on one of his emails and have money ready to transfer.

Yep …You need to be also very lucky to do that. Hard to be the first one… I also don't know what kind of payment he requires (?) I asked for info about his policy in the email… I would give him a deposit to reserve one

As I mentioned previously he's a very busy guy often dealing with full arcade load outs almost instead of individual cab purchasers, so unfortunately you sorta need to build up a relationship which is difficult, sometimes on Facebook he can be responsive messages/comments but yeah seems to operate that you need to pounce when a machine comes up unless he has stock (if it's a more common candy cab there's a better change). If you have no luck there are a few others who import cabs too.

And @Inviere don't tempt me lol. Also with car chargers there's an incentive now to have 3 phase going to nearly every new build so it's much easier to get now.

I thought it was an easy process to deal straight forward with him… Do you know any other cab importers?

You have to remember, you're trying to import an old, large, highly specialised item that comes from half way around the world. Patience is key. He'll get back to you and he's 100% your best bet in getting a cabinet. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

A lot of the European ones are gone or are only Business2Business. I've imported directly before too but it's a bit of effort.

Never dealt with them before. I know of someone in Italy with a lot of stock too will try dig out his details, did you did you decide which candy yet?

I will try to wait for a response. He replied you in the past right? Perhaps you didn't wait too much for a response …otherwise pouncing on one of his emails sounds like a lottery…

Shadaloo has all the candies out of stock…

I am sure there is no one in Italy for Candies.. There is a big importer of cabs from US (classic US cabs)

The Astro City is my first choice but I would be happy with any of the Astro family…

Trust me there are plenty of candie cabinets and all cabinets pretty much all over in Italy, some even black market imported in the 00s for operation, there were a few Jap importers there. This guy is selling on Facebook marketplace Italy Fedrico Pianezzola but again I have never bought from them.

I've also listed a few of my cabs for sale on the A&R Marketplace.

Good stuff on your sale! Unfortunately there isn't any from the Astro family for me. I would buy one locally. Perhaps I will open a thread about it.

Thanks for the Italian contact, I will try to reach him. Do you know anyone that have bought from him?

I haven't unfortunately. There are very little Astro Cities in Ireland to my knowledge, maybe about 5 or so, and rarely change hands. There's a few more Blast Cities or New Net Cities I could probably help you help you source, other than that you've to mostly shop in Europe.

I texted both contacts you gave me anyway… and also opened a thread in the marketplace… will see
