Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Synaptic company writing in the March issue of IEEE Sprectum magazine, say they expect to see their chip in smartphones, wearable, and laptop computers by the end of 2024.

At present sound comes from moving coil loudspeakers on the edge of our devices, by replacing the speakers with Piezoelectric transducers on the rear of the device, the sound will appear to arrive from the screen.

Also by working on Haptic, ( Touch)., feedback they suggest even the possibility of when a touch,or ambient noise, flexes the transducer, the electrical signal produced may go towards charging the device.

Removing the speakers, and replacing them with piezoelectric transducers , would mean the device could be thinner.

Also ,as posted last year, Samsung TV remotes can now use WiFi to charge the remote handset.
