Away we go. Opening Day! Who will beat the Dodgers? Is there a point to the regular season or just wait for Dodgers/Braves in the NLCS? Who will win the AL?

    Let's get ready to rumble!

The first game in the Mets-Braves double header last night was absolutely wild - incredible drama

Roll on the wild cards although you'd have to think the Mets and Braves will both be up against it today with tired bodies, travel etc

Can't get enough of the highlights, here's the condensed game, great for catching up on games here:

    Condensed Game: NYM@ATL - 9/30/24 Game 1 | 09/26/2024 | MLB.com

Braves had to fly to San Diego and the 2d game mattered to them. I say Padres get this one.

Mets not as long a trip and several regulars (especially the guy that'd be the MVP bar Ohtani, Francisco Lindor), who was just so impressive coming back from back distress. What a trooper.

But the Brewers have absolutely owned the Mets this year, so I'd say at best a 50/50 chance.

Kind of sad the wild card is played completely at the home of the higher seed. Tough to get through that.

Anyway, can't wait. FD: I'm a life long diehard Mets fan, the hat'll be on and herself has banished me to a room where she won't hear the screaming. Very patient person putting up with this all these years.
